Kurzbiographie Vita

Christian Lenz ist Lehrkraft für besondere Aufgaben am Institut für Anglistik und Amerikanistik in den Bereichen der British Cultural Studies und British Literary Studies. Er hat 2014 seine Promotion über Cultural Geographies in britischer, australischer, und indischer populärer Literatur abgeschlossen. Seine Dissertation ist 2016 unter dem Titel Geographies of Love erschienen. Neben seiner Lehrtätigkeit an der TU Dortmund hat er außerdem Erfahrung an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum und an der University of Worcester, Großbritannien, gesammelt. Christian Lenz hat außerdem an zahlreichen universitären und kulturellen Veranstaltungen mitgewirkt, wie zum Beispiel die Tagungen zu James Bond, Monarchie und "Mini Meets Mini" sowie die Performance "S1zigartig" im Rahmen der Kulturhauptstadt Ruhr.2010.

 

Christian Lenz is a lecturer at the English Studies Department at TU Dortmund University where he teaches courses on both British Literary and Cultural Studies. In 2014, he successfully completed his PhD thesis on cultural geographies in British, Australian, and Indian popular novels. His book entitled Geographies of Love came out in 2016. In addition to teaching at TU Dortmund, he taught at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and University of Worcester ,UK. Christian Lenz partakes in cultural activities such as “S1zigartig,” a performance on a regional train during the festivities for the European Capital of Culture event in 2010. He also co-organised several conferences on James Bond, the mini cooper and mini skirt as well as on the British monarchy.
